Check out the winners of the 11th Residents Meeting!

For the first time, the Meeting of Residents and Fellows in Radiology was held during the JPR. Brazilian and foreign participants presented clinical cases on Saturday, May 3, and the winners were announced at the Plenary Session for the Inauguration of the Board of Directors for the 2025-2027 Biennium by coordinators Drs. Nelson Caserta and Hugo Raúl Guerra.

The Brazilian winners were:

1. Dr. Guilherme Gonçalves Magalhães – Hospital do Coração (HCor)
2. Dr. Letícia Victorazzo Louzada – Irmandade Santa Casa De Misericórdia De São Paulo
3. Dr. Gabriel Belizário Amorim Silva – Hospital Das Clinicas – Faculdade De Medicina De São Paulo – USP-Inrad
4. Dr. Milena Yonamine – Faculdade De Ciências Médicas – Unicamp
5. Dr. Bianca Gomes Teixeira – Universidade Federal De São Paulo – Unifesp – Escola Paulista De Medicina
6. Dr. Lucas Hideki Matsumoto – Famerp/ Hospital Da Criança E Maternidade (HCM)
7. Dr. Lavínia Ferreira Dias – Sociedade Beneficente Israelita Brasileira Hospital Albert Einstein

The awards given were:

• 1st and 2nd places: airfare + accommodation for CADI 2025, offered by SPR
• 3rd to 7th places: annuity 2026

The foreign winners, who won the 2026 annual membership fee as a Corresponding Member, were:

1. Dr. Dolores García Barale – Insituto Oulton (Córdoba, Argentina)
2. Dr. Victoria Amado – Imagen Clara (Salta, Argentina)
3. Dr. Javier Camacho Quesada – ACRIM (Costa Rica)

At this Residents’ Meeting, it is worth highlighting the honorable mention to Drs. Gabriel Belizário and Gabriela Lauar, who actively participated in the presentations, according to the evaluators.
