The practical module of the Radiology Safety Course, part of the SPR Hybrid Courses and coordinated by specialists Drs. Renato Hoffmann Nunes, Augusto Scalabrini Neto and Tufik Bauab Jr, was highlighted on the JPR first day.

After completing the theoretical part online, students have the opportunity to experience the application of their knowledge in healthcare practice. The module offered an interactive and enriching experience, consolidating students’ technical training through dynamic activities and case presentations. In a carefully planned environment for professional simulation, participants were able to improve their skills in an immersive way.

The program was structured in four stages, using three demonstration rooms, where students explored various procedures with the help of simulation mannequins. The classes were led by professors Drs. Lucas Trindade Cantú Ribeiro, Pedro Henrique de Santana and Henrique Trombini Pinesi, providing a complete and challenging training.

During the activities, participants faced common situations in clinical radiology, covering everything from essential medical emergencies in radiology practice — such as airway support and treatment of cardiorespiratory arrest — to performing exams and applying fundamental techniques for the day-to-day work of professionals in the field.

This initiative reinforces the importance of practical training in radiology, ensuring that students are prepared to act with safety, precision and excellence when facing the challenges of the profession.
